Rocker Prince has been chosen as one of the world's two sexiest vegetarians for 2006.

Prince shares the honour with Kristen Bell, star of the TV show Veronica Mars, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) says.

More than 40,000 people chose the pair by voting on the PETA website.

"Both of this year's winners are more than just sexy vegetarians - they're also active animal lovers," the group said in a statement.

Past sexiest vegetarians include Hollywood actors Tobey Maguire, Josh Hartnett, Alicia Silverstone and Natalie Portman.
